Indonesia, the world's fourth most populous country (after China, India and the USA), is an amazing mixture of people and cultures. The name Indonesia derives from the Greek words: Indos (meaning Indian), and Nesos (meaning island). Although greatly diverse, Indonesia is "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika", which can be translated to "Unity in Diversity". It is an unusual place, housing over 200 ethnic groups and over 300 languages. Additionally it has truly rich and impressive history. Although not being a leader in the world's economy, Indonesian tourism plays a great part for the country.
