Indonesia is a country of spectacular views. The endless ocean, spotted by hundreds of islands large and small, will amaze everyone who gets there. The past volcanic activity outlined the scenery so untypical for other parts of the world. Imagine Indonesia as the country of three colours: the ocean blue, the golden of grasses burned out in the summer, and the green of rainy seasons.
Throughout the majority of the year, you can admire those picturesque views from a boat. This enables you to see much more than is possible during the inland trekking. Many of the little islands are out of reach for tourists, so boat cruises are the only way to see the life around them.
In our opinion, boat cruises are a great adventure for anyone. They make a fantastic chance for an active sightseeing in Indonesia for families with their children, during which you will experience an unforgettable adventure, discover new lands, and try all the new stuff. It is a sample of the ship discipline, where the captain is the one to set the rules. It is also a culinary experience as the Indonesian cuisine is amazing.
The Indo-Explorer cruises, apart from the possibility of getting to know this amazing country from aboard, offer other optional highlights. These include:
- short trips deeper into some of the islands (Komodo, Rinca),
- an option of snorkelling in the islands' bays,
- an option of introduction diving for people who had never tried it before,
- as well as a possibility of meeting Indonesian fishermen during their work at sea. This is the only way, away from the crowded harbours, to see hand-carved boats out of the tree trunks, where regular families live.
On top of that all, during a cruise you can most often see dolphins jumping out of the water, and the bays are full of coral reefs and spectacular colourful underwater life.
