Despite the fact that Indonesian coral reefs have not yet been fully explored, they are already widely recognized as the best and the most spectacular diving destinations in the world.

The diving infrastructure, still in its development stages, offers the virginity of many places around the islands. Indonesian coral reefs have the greatest biodiversity of the sea species, as over 80 000 km of its coastline contribute to the 10-15% of all world's coral reefs. There are also absolutely amazing diving locations, suitable to scuba divers at any advancement level.

When planning a diving trip around Indonesia, it is important to gather all the relevant information about the specific site in order to ensure it will align with one's capabilities. Certification card and logbook as well as the INT adaptor are required for the certified divers.

Apart from a 3mm thick wetsuit, we recommended wearing gloves and a hood since at some of the areas plankton may cause micro-cuts. Also it is always best to be accompanied by someone while diving.
