Diving Bali

Bali is a perfect tourist destination with plenty wonderful dive sites, such as the amazingly clear (transparent up to 50 meters down) waters around the steep coastline of the Menjangan island.

The famous Tulamben, located just at the bottom of the Gunung Agung volcano, is well known for its black volcanic sands as well as the world-renowned SS Liberty - the American ship wreck from World War II. Other wonderful locations include Nusa Penida - an island popular with scuba divers for diving in currents, as well as its northern part of Puri Jati, with a huge diversity of marine life. On top of it all Bali offers you an opportunity of meeting the amazing Sunfish.

Useful information for scuba divers: the nearest recompression chamber is in Denpasar, Bali; the nearest airport is also located in Denpasar.
